The delicious taste of The Balvenie 12 Years DOUBLEWOOD comes from continuous maturation in two types of wine barrels. During the maturation period, the first-fill European sherry casks are transferred from traditional oak barrels. Each stage gives Balvenie 12-year-old whiskey different characteristics. Traditional whiskey oak barrels give it a soft taste, while sherry casks enrich its flavor and add depth.

Aroma: A blend of sweet fruit and Oloroso sherry, intertwined with honey and vanilla.

Taste: Smooth and mellow, showing the wonderful flavor of the sweetness of nuts, the spiciness of cinnamon, and the delicate flavor of sherry.

Finish: Long and rich.
